Installer
- Install blinds, shades, shutters and other window treatments
- Perform window treatment repairs
- Receive customer payments
- Maintain proper installation paperwork
- Clean customer premises of any installation debris, dust, etc
- Take photos of completed installation
- Help organize window covering orders and installation materials in shop
- Use simple computer programs (email, text, Touchpoint)
- Maintain a clean, organized and well stocked install vehicle.
- Prior general workmanship skills from any industry.
- Experience in working as an in-home installer is a plus.
- Self-directed and able to work independently and work as a valuable team player.
- Friendly, courteous, pleasant with all types of people.
- Ability to learn and handle new technology as introduced to the window covering and installation industry.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Telephone, written and verbal communication skills are critical when interfacing with all levels of Budget Blinds staff and clients.
- Current and valid driver's license.
- Punctual and dependable.
- Professionally Dressed
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to lift a maximum of 100 pounds and can climb up and down ladders.
- High School or equivalent-education level preferred.
- Paid training.
- Laptop Provided
- Real-time support in the field.
- Possibilities for promotion and bonuses.
- Typical working schedule Monday through Friday with some early evenings and Saturday appointments required (although we try to keep this at an absolute minimum).
- Work vehicle
- Smartphone for communication and directions (we’ll provide or pay reimbursement).
