Join our team! We are currently seeking a Retail Associate for our showroom in Wesley Chapel, FL. We have a brand new location in the Krate Container Park at the Grove in Wesley Chapel.  Locally, due to significant growth, our Budget Blinds of Greater Tampa and Brandon are expanding. We are currently seeking multiple Retail Associates to join our team. We are looking for hardworking, detail-oriented individuals whose focus is providing exemplary customer service and interested in growing a team-oriented, family-owned, and operated business. As the face of the company, you will be responsible for greeting visitors, answering phones, and assisting customers with their selection of window coverings. You will need an outgoing personality and be able to provide excellent customer service. We don’t take ourselves too seriously, but we take our jobs very seriously. You should be highly organized and have strong attention to detail as well as be able to work independently and prioritize projects. Administrative duties include but are not limited to quoting window treatments, booking in-home consultations, preparing necessary documents or items for sales and installation teams, and overall customer support post-sale.
 
Responsibilities 
  • Immediately greet customers upon entering the showroom with a friendly welcome 
  • Establish a positive comfort level with each customer
  • Understand customers’ requests and respond with the appropriate action which may include 
    • Pricing window treatments
    • Following up on existing orders
    • Providing design advice
  • Provide a pleasant in person and telephone experience 
  • Schedule appointments for Design Consultants 
  • Navigate and update the Budget Blinds internal Touchpoint system 
  • Provide administrative support to in-home consultants when necessary
  • Promptly respond to customer interactions, including email and maintain efficient communication.
  • Send samples and design guides when requested
  • Provide exemplary customer service
  • Build and maintain customer loyalty by providing the right solution to everyone you encounter
  • Support the rest of the administrative team as required
  • Resolve customer reported issues or escalate  
Qualifications
  • Previous sales or customer service experience preferred
  • Open availability is required including nights and weekends
  • Enjoy engaging and maintaining conversation
  • Pleasant in person and telephone presence
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude and demonstrates character and integrity in all actions
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in computer and technology skills including experience with Windows, MS Office and navigating multiple screens.
  • Proficient in data entry
  • Thorough understanding of office management procedures
  • Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving

Compensation: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
