In addition to blinds and shades, we offer an extensive assortment of fully custom soft window fashions and drapery, meticulously handcrafted by our trusted custom workroom. Each product will be installed beautifully with proper carpentry methods and artistic flair.

Position Summary

At Budget Blinds of Scottsdale, we’re growing and looking for an incredible Design Consultant (salesperson) to join our team! If you're an experienced sales professional with 5+ years of experience in business-to-consumer sales, consider joining our team.

Design Consultants are responsible for communicating the benefits of a company's products to drive sales. You will serve as the primary point of contact between our business and clients, and you will have a range of responsibilities. These include identifying and educating prospective customers, as well as supporting existing clients with information and assistance related to products and services. Qualifications include strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

● Selling products and services using solid arguments to prospective customers

● Performing cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers

● Maintaining positive business relationships to ensure future sales

● Present, promote, and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers

● Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs

● Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships

● Reach out to customer leads through cold calling

● Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction

● Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes

● Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments

● Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends

● Continuously improve through feedback

Qualifications

● Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required)

● Must be well-groomed, professional, and presentable in physical appearance

● Friendly, courteous, and pleasant with all types of people

● Possess a professional work ethic demonstrated by being reliable, dependable, responsible, and mature

● Preference is given to those with previous window covering experience

● Secondary priority is given to work experience in the trades

● Can read and take accurate measurements

● Telephone, written, and verbal communication skills are easily understood and meet a superior level of professionalism

We will provide

● Full-time work in 5 days a week, typically ranging from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Flexible Schedule that can include weekends

● Commission position and design consultants' salaries range from $75,000 to $150,000 plus (no cap)
● Company vehicle with samples
● Leads
